MicioMik makes simple, free apps for everyday life. The first one is Previsioni Traffico: expected traffic hour by hour, even days in advance, presented like a weather forecast.
Come prevediamo il traffico
- 📊Il traffico di sempre
Per ogni strada sappiamo quanto è trafficata giorno per giorno e ora per ora, grazie alle statistiche raccolte negli anni. Distinguiamo giorni feriali, venerdì, sabato, festivi, ponti, agosto e giorni di esodo.
- 🌧️Il meteo previsto
Controlliamo le previsioni del tempo lungo tutto il percorso, all'ora in cui passerai da ogni tratto. Pioggia, temporali, grandine, neve e nebbia aggiungono tempo: di più in città, meno o niente in autostrada, in proporzione all'intensità.
- 🚧Lavori, chiusure e divieti
Se sul percorso sono previsti lavori o chiusure ne teniamo conto e, quando serve, ti proponiamo un'altra strada. Evitiamo ZTL, aree pedonali e strade vietate negli orari di divieto.
- 📍Oggi, in tempo reale
Per le partenze di oggi usiamo il traffico di questo momento e le segnalazioni degli altri utenti.
- 🚗Impariamo dai viaggi
Quando usi «Parto ora», la durata reale del viaggio ci aiuta a correggere le stime future per quel tragitto.
Sono previsioni, come quelle del tempo: più la data è lontana, più possono cambiare. Il meteo viene considerato fino a circa 9 giorni prima.
How we forecast traffic
- 📊Usual traffic
For every road we know how busy it is, day by day and hour by hour, from statistics collected over the years. We tell apart weekdays, Fridays, Saturdays, holidays, long weekends, August and peak holiday departure days.
- 🌧️Weather forecast
We check the weather forecast along the whole route, at the time you will drive through each stretch. Rain, thunderstorms, hail, snow and fog add time: more in town, less or none on motorways, depending on intensity.
- 🚧Roadworks, closures and restrictions
If roadworks or closures are planned on your route we take them into account and suggest another road when needed. We avoid restricted traffic zones, pedestrian areas and closed roads during their hours.
- 📍Today, in real time
For departures today we use current traffic and reports from other users.
- 🚗We learn from trips
When you use “Leave now”, the real duration of your trip helps us correct future estimates for that route.
These are forecasts, just like the weather: the further away the date, the more they can change. Weather is taken into account up to about 9 days ahead.

Cosa fa Previsioni Traffico?
Mostra su una mappa quanto traffico è previsto in Europa, nei paesi, nelle regioni, nelle città e nei quartieri, ora per ora e fino a 14 giorni. Per un tragitto preciso calcola il tempo di viaggio a ogni ora, ti indica l'ora migliore per partire e l'orario entro cui partire per arrivare in tempo.
È gratuita?
Sì. L'app è gratuita e non richiede registrazione.
Serve un account o la mia posizione?
No account. La posizione serve solo se scegli «La mia posizione» come partenza: viene usata per il calcolo e non viene salvata.
Il meteo cambia davvero i tempi?
Sì. Se è prevista pioggia, neve, grandine o nebbia lungo il percorso all'ora in cui ci passerai, aggiungiamo un tempo realistico: di più in città, meno o niente in autostrada.
Posso aprirla in navigazione?
Sì: con «Naviga» il percorso scelto si apre in Google Maps, Apple Mappe o Waze.
Quanto sono precise le previsioni?
Sono stime, come le previsioni del tempo: per oggi usiamo il traffico in tempo reale, per i giorni futuri le statistiche e gli eventi previsti. Più la data è lontana, più possono cambiare.
What does Previsioni Traffico do?
It shows on a map how much traffic is expected across Europe, countries, regions, cities and districts, hour by hour and up to 14 days ahead. For a specific route it calculates the travel time at every hour, the best time to leave and the latest departure to arrive on time.
Is it free?
Yes. The app is free and needs no registration.
Do I need an account or my location?
No account. Your location is only used if you choose “My location” as the start: it is used for the calculation and not stored.
Does weather really change the times?
Yes. If rain, snow, hail or fog are forecast along the route at the time you will pass, we add realistic extra time: more in town, less or none on motorways.
Can I start navigation?
Yes: “Navigate” opens the chosen route in Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.
How accurate are the forecasts?
They are estimates, like weather forecasts: for today we use real-time traffic, for future days statistics and planned events. The further the date, the more they can change.
